No offense, but unless you're the one who did the work, don't presume to know how much effort someone had to put out.

Coloring in all areas alone takes a large amount of time, yet you seem to have clearly forgotten to factor in that part. Before i even lay down any colors comes the prep work which i won't even get into, then comes removing grayscale tones while trying not to damage the image itself, then comes the shadows,shadings,highlights,lighting etc layers and layers piling.

Everyone has their own methods when working with these programs. As much as i would like to be able to do these faster, it just doesn't work with the way i do mine.

So again, don't *PRESUME* someone "DIDN'T HAVE MUCH TO DO" unless you know exactly the process they go through, which is impossible.

Honestly, the steps it takes to do something like that isn't very hard if you know your way around the program you're using.

Doing it manually would take some time, sure, but again-- knowing your tools helps it go by easier

Adding on to this, judging by the way the lines are glowing, you started with a gradient map, and adjusted the map depending on the area (ie; making several duplicate layers, masking out the areas that werent to that map, accordingly.)

Then from there you did touchups, like the small highlights on her arch and lower jaw.

While that's not PISS EASY, since it does take some attention to detail, it's also not butt-frazzingly hard.

So, yeah you have some attention to detail and you polished your piece nicely, but it's not like it should have taken too much effort unless you were brand new to photoshop. And there's nothing wrong with your methods, because they clearly work.

Pic realted, 5 minutes of dicking around = step one. Oh and dont forget to gaussian blur one of the duplicate layers to blend out some of the printing textures.

Was a long work week and i was a bit annoyed. It wasn't meant to come across as aggressive or anything.

I don't typically post on here, i'm mainly around ExH but like i mentioned before, he requested the picture being attached to it months ago and seemed to really like it so i tried to pitch in and help out.

Anyways, forget about it and lets get back to regular business, looking forward to more of your work so keep'em coming while i go and burn more time on Fallout 4 because i'm completely hooked. I got a lot of respect for people who do these because they know how long and time consuming it can be. I've already stated the 2 programs above that i use, Adobe Illustrator and Clip Studio Paint. If you know the exact process i go through, by all means list them. I have seen many great artist on Youtube that does phenomenal work, yet they themselves have stated that they are still figuring out new techniques all the time. Let me get this straight, you took my color pic and dropped it into PS then lined it up with the original Black and White shot and cranked up Brightness/Opacity and tried to hypothesize all the steps i took to do it?

First of all, if you've been reading you would know that i've already listed the two programs i used, i dropped PS years ago when i found out about Clip Studio and have been using/learning on that. The features Clip Studio paint offers are leaps and bounds ahead of PS, and it incorporates Pen&Tablet much better as well.

Secondly, there are a total of 19 layers when it was finished, what you listed are merely a fraction.

But thats fine, you call out what you want. I don't even know why i'm getting into this with you.

Ya, i think i'm done here. To the OP, again much props to you for doing this, you got yourself a fan, looking forward to more of your work.

For the sake of your claim about getting rid of the so called "Printing Textures" which i have never heard being called before BTW, because you should know that these are coming from 2nd hand scans but thats not what this is about.

Below is two versions of the original picture ran through Gaussian Blur. Left is valued at 1(Lowest possible at trying to achieve your claim without pixelating the image any further) Right is valued at 3(Highest possible to maintain the blur/blend effect, while it does its job, the image is absolutely destroyed)

Every step you listed doesn't even consist of anything i do, yet i'll give you credit for mentioning "Blend" since that is one of my favorite features in Clip Studio paint, as i have mentioned earlier, one of many features it has/does better that gives it a lot of advantages over PS.

Don't even know you, and at this point, don't even care to. But you put a fully colored picture into PS(Which i don't even use)and ran it through random processes and played a guessing game trying to call me out.

For real though who cares.
People who do this shit know that it takes fucking centuries, why even let it get to you.

I'm the main guy here, though there have been a few that pop by that are better than me. I use photoshop with a mouse to do this. Generally for shading, just try to imagine where the lightsource(s) would be in the image (or where you want them to be) and shade accordingly. Generally I take my colors directly from their reference, if there are no references (non r34 works) I just shift the colors around until I find something good. This was kind of a vague introduction, but if you have any specific questions ask away

Alright, so the light source for this image would be up above her and the men. So imagine a spotlight shining down on them, she would have a shadow on her ass and thighs from the guys body/hands. Between her vagina and thighs would have some shading. Her hips would have a shadow from her legs, some under the breasts, the arm where it creases, where her hair lies. All that said, the page I had posted has much more shading than yours, so it lends well to coloring. Your work looks good man, just keep at it. just use the burn tool and go crazy where you think shading would be.

I use a mouse, too broke to afford a tablet worth anything. color work isn't too hard with the mouse, line correction and higher quality shading is where a tablet really helps, at least in my limited experience with them. There was/is another color anon in here who used one that would probably have a more informed opinion on tablets.

Here ya go mate, I removed the third frame, the artist got a little lazy and it was well... not very good. The gif still flows fine without it. If there's anything more you want done to the gif just let me know.

Thank you so much. I don't mind you removing a frame. It looks really good. It seems you used a different skin tone for each layer, and it kind of makes it seem like her skin is flashing. If you don't mind, could you fix that and make the lightest skin tone you used the one for all layers?

The reason for that is because it was a webm, as such I had to convert it to a gif, and not paying attention I ended up shrinking it in conversion. I'm cleaning up a properly sized one now.
