Correct. The first 8 chapters just say "End of chapter X".

The eighth chapter actually has two ending notes, the first one is "End of chapter 8" at page 220 in tank numbering, and then "The end [conclusion]" at page 224. The final page says "School trip to the yarimoku beach!! / The end".

The extra pages by the guest artists also need translating. I have done most of it. Need help with three things:

Yes we still are, we've been working on it already. Either we release it on sadpanda as the entire thing or in parts again, but we might post the tank edits here first.

Just to make it clear, I don't know much about this project since I have no interest in the book, but a lot of people apparently do.

I'm pretty sure you are allowed to mix sources. I have galleries that mix magazine and tank translations, and I've never had any trouble with that. The only thing that could happen is that once someone reedits the magazine chapters, they could replace your gallery, but since you're going to reedit them yourself, that shouldn't be an issue.

Working on the magazine version when the tank is out seems like a huge waste of everyone's time. If you're halfway done with a magazine chapter, I can understand if you want to finish and release that one, but I would urge against starting any new magazine chapter if the tank is available.

If you insist on not mixing the two, you should just drop whatever magazine chapter remains and make a new gallery for the tank version: one for chapter 1-8 (Magazine), one for chapter 9-10 (tankoubon). Then once you start reediting old chapters, you can either replace everything in the first gallery and delete the second one, or add them to the second one and keep the first around.


Again, I don't care about this title, and maybe I've misunderstood something since I've just read a few posts, but I wanted to point out that you shouldn't feel forced to worked with shitty magazine scans. I think everyone would be happier if you didn't.
