A Hakkyou Daioujou story? I was wishing for that one to be translated as well. A shame about the Wani shit, although the only person who I've ever seen take interest in his stories to translate was CGRascal. You wouldn't happen to be him?

I just started translating last October, initially I focused on SnK doujins, then I expanded to other doujins, and recently I started getting into one-shots. Subsequently, I started reading through whole anthologies to find stories I like, and I found that my favorite stories and artists (like Kurokoshi You for example) tended to be in X-Eros and the various Kairakuten anthologies. Now that they're banned, I've lost my favorite source of stories (in that I can't upload them to Sad Panda anymore). So now, I am looking towards Anthurium, Megastore, Hotmilk, maybe Masyo for material (I'll keep looking around).

If I can find a good alternative location to upload Wani stuff though, that would be great, since again, Wani tends to have my favorite stuff. I've never heard of Hakkyou Daioujou before, but the art looks amazing and I like the characters.

On that note Teri Terio's had quite a large amount of his tanks published over the years. Kuchatoris! was his most recent.

As for Hakkyou Daioujou, I've been a follower of his over the years. His line art is supreme, and the way he can deliver motion, and emotion through his art is top tier. I believe before his gig with X-Eros he mostly published doujins.

Strangely though no one seems to ever translate his stuff but CGR, a shame too since his line art is very high quality. The kind you'd expect most would be translators would home in on. Though I guess he does need to use shading more, it's ultimately up to tastes as well. A Dead or Alive doujin starring Ayane was never touched by CGR, though he translated a KLK doujin that was published by the artist soon after.

As for where you could post such a translated story without those pesky crocodiles having a shitfest? I can't really answer that. You'd probably have more resolve on a sadpanda thread, although most of the posts in those threads these days is /pol/ leakage. I don't blame them though. The cost of all that raw scans for a couple of slowly released uncensored tanks is not worth it, I'd rather the shitty censors Japan uses now a days then never seeing all those artist's works in the first place. Sadly the crocodile in the business suit spoke and now we have this wreck.

Actually, when I look at ?http://exhentai.org/tag/artist:hakkyou+daioujou?, I have seen like 3~5 of his works/doujins before, but back then, I didn't concern myself with learning the names of the authors of stuff I read. Momoiro Close has a similar style.

And about what you said regarding the art, it's seriously REALLY good. I don't know, maybe people didn't care that much about his doujins, maybe they would have only cared about his original works or something (and I don't know about how many originals he has). There's Momoiro Close and the one I'm interested in. I don't know if there are any others. I personally am a big fan of art styles that are "serious" (I guess that's a way to say it), by which I mean the art is high-class and the details and textures are really well done. Hakkyou Daioujou certainly fits that (at least in his recent stuff, especially in Kaze to Osananajimi no O-Yakusoku [which is the title of the untranslated work I linked])

There's about 3. Momoiro Close which was translated by CGR, that incest story, and a new one from the latest X-Eros which is now hidden.

I like an artist that has a unique style to them. While still keeping the line's defined well enough. It's tough to outright say that for all the artists I like though.

It's surprising just how much content that last artist pushes out too. I believe he's got about 10 (if I counted right) or so tanks released and not a single one of them is translated.

Anything involving hatred of jews, conspiracy, the end of the world, and racism can pretty much home on /pol/. Thanks to Jacob being jewish, it fulfilled the ability for /pol/ to come into panda threads and consistently shitposts about "muh jews", "good goy", and all that jazz. Once again I don't honestly blame the shitposting. It didn't start this whole mess. But it's still annoying at this point.

Translations will always be welcomed by the community as long as it's not as bad as CGrascal's english - and even then there are a lot of people who can stomach his translations. It's ultimately up to you and the translating community to do what you want in your free time.

As for wani/fakku stealing translations, it's possible. It's up to you if you want to take the risk of having your translations stolen, since it's your free time.

Can someone help me? I recently heard that the hentai site got purged last week, how much damage was done? How many galleries were wiped from the internet? Has the recovery process started, where can we find all the lost directories and what site does everyone use now?

I've only translated two one-shots so far.
One of Napata's (Nanako-san) and one of Saitom's (Zangyou wa Nanno Aji).

I don't really care if people have uploaded the translations somewhere for credits or whatever.
I've been thinking about translating some other works, mainly by Hamao, Moyamoya, etc., but I don't know where to put them because they're likely to get removed or whatever.

Uploading them here works, but it's rather ephemeral - at least you guys point out mistakes and such.

I've downloaded every Kairakuten (beast ant XTC included) and X-EROS on sadpanda, but I was too late to archive Hana-man and Shitsurakuten issues. All torrents older than 2013 are dead, and sadpanda is obviously out of the question. Can anyone point me to where I should look for it? I got other Wani magazines off mega folder one anon made (lost the link unfortunately).

Having the same issue. Not with Wani, but with translated stuff from another publisher that is classified as commercial publisher of non-hentai manga (which makes limited sense given the contents).

The forums at Hentaipalm and at Masterbloodfer are still functional. These are places where I used to go. But when I look at the date of the latest post in those forums, I kind of get the idea that I would be posting there for no one.
