Actually, the idea that sunlight is lethal to vampires is a fairly recent one. Lord Ruthven (English literature's first vampire) had no problem with sunlight; it's just that moonlight rejuvenated him. Ditto for Varney the Vampire and Carmilla. Even Dracula, in the original novel, can go out in the sun: he just temporarily loses access to his powers and essentially becomes an ordinary human.

Okay, so this young couple has decided to spend their honeymoon in a spooky castle owned by the bride's two mysterious cousins. But, when they get there, they learn (from a woman who was engaged to both of said cousins simultaneously) that they died mysteriously the previous evening (it later turns out that they were both vampire hunters who, uh, failed at their about as badly as possible). Then later, while her husband is out exploring the grounds, the wife decides to get ready for bed. As soon as she gets naked, however, a female vampire steps out of a grandfather clock and tells her to follow her to the cemetery. She complies, and then this happens.

As far as Jean Rollin movies go, this is actually a fairly strong and coherent plot.

I misunderstood you. I know who Adjani and Haze are; that's not the issue. The only other bite scene in Sexy Bite that I particularly care for involves an actress whose character is never referred to by name, and who I am having the worst time trying to track down.

In case you haven't noticed (not many people do), the format I use for most of my webms' file names goes [title], [year], [name of actress], and [action] (i.e., what happens to them in the webm; generally, either [bite] or [fangs out/post-bite reveal]); and if they are bitten, then where on their body they're bitten and what effect the bite has on them (turned, killed, or non-fatal). This is all to make it easier for people to track down sauces, and it really bugs me when I can't find the answer to something as essential as an actor's name.

I apologize if the audio on this is slightly off--I think it becomes a little jarring once Yorga starts talking.

I still use Windows Movie Maker, like the high-ranking pleb I am; and recently I managed to get my hands on a better copy of this movie than the one I used to make previous webms of this scene. But, this new copy was a .mkv file, which WMM can't edit. So I used Miro to convert it to .mp4. Simple, right? The problem is, for whatever reason, instead of converting the actual movie's audio, Miro decided to hardwire in the optional audio commentary track. So I went back, converted scenes from my original copy into .mp3, and then basically re-dubbed the movie with itself.

If I do this again next year, I'll try to make it a little less noticeable.
