So I tried to make each clip an even 30 sec but was having trouble getting under the 4mb cap, so had to shorten the second 2. Any idea why the file size varies when the clip length is the same?

how do you think a video file size increases?
frames per second, quality of each frame (bitrate), audio frames per second, quality of each audio frame.
higher resolution demands higher bitrate for higher frame quality.
duration only makes size go larger.

so...
720x480p30fps @400-900kb/s is a good starting point. you don't need high bitrate for porn audio since human voice isn't that complicated so 64kb/s audio is good enough.

if you're not a scrub (which I doubt you aren't) it'll translate to this:

ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -c:v libvpx -c:a libvorbis -b:a 64k -qmax 28 -cpu-used 5 -metadata title="fat bitches suck, your taste is shit" -threads 8 output.webm

you can google each parameter used

in ffmpeg, vp8 video quality can be controlled with -qmax, lower qmax value grants higher quality. a starting point of 23 is good enough for 4chan's limited file size, shit starts getting very pixelated after 50 (because of low bitrates).

(protip: if you ever go to brazil, don't call the girls latinas. they don't talk spanish)

Wow thanks for actually helping me understand ha. I got confused because my duration for the 3 clips was the same, but only the first was under the size limit (the second and third I uploaded are shorter because I just trimmed the length to get under size limit).

I guess even though the overall length was the same, certain frames demand more "stuff" than others, causing file size to be inconsistent?
