Here's an odd question for you, /gif/: What's that inter-frame smoothing called that's been applied to this?
Like, there's a gif version of this with far fewer frames, kinda like standard anime frame rate, and this has had extra frames added in between, presumably by some program. As further evidence, you can see some weird distortions if you watch it frame by frame.

A lot of high end, high frame rate TVs do this, but I don't know what it's called, or how to apply it to a gif/webm like this. Anybody know more about it?
