Yeah, it's a bit tricky. If you aren't already using this to do the conversion then I'd give that a shot 'cause that's what I use.

Passed that, all ya can really do is try and get as close to the 4MB as ya can and try to keep the length of the clip down (I just use the Trim function in WebMConverter) so you're getting as many bits per frame as ya can.

Oh, and just as general suggestions, saving up for a day or two and shooting a thicker load or recording a nice moan is always a plus!

Both excellent questions, anon.

I record my videos on an iPhone 5S with a little tripod stand-dealy which records at 1080p30.

Once I pull that onto my PC and clean it up a little with After Effects I convert the final mp4 to webm using WebMConverter aka "WebM For Retards" which can be found here:

As far as why the quality's as good as it is, it's probably due to the following two things:

1) The scene is well lit and the camera is decent. This means less of the "rainbowy static" known as "noise" that one tends to see in low-light phone videos. With less noise you have less stuff changing from frame to frame and more bits (read: quality) to put towards the stuff that matters!

2) MinMaxing. I try to almost never try to make a webm higher res than 720p so I resize using WebMConverter's built in resize tool when converting my videos. I also try to trim my videos down to get just the important stuff. 1.5minutes of jacking and 0.25 minutes of actual cumshot's not always a great use of the limited filesize. Finally, with constant bitrate selected and high quality mode enabled, I try to get that final filesize as close to the /gif/ 4.00MB limit as possible.
