I was thinking about getting into making some porn WebMs, and

keep it around half resolution so it doesn't load too large, bitrate around 1500-2000+. More importantly edit them down, trimming ALL the fat. only the exact hottest moments cutting off at the right frame.

10-20 seconds with highest quality, meaning 4MB large.

16:9 aspect ratio:

Ideal resolution for 4chan: 852x480

Length: 10-20 seconds

Make sure to use 2-pass variable bit rate so the video quality isn't blocky.

Set the max file size to under 4 mb because that's the limit. I usually aim for 3.8 mb.

Reduce the audio bit rate down to 56 kbps because it saves you file size and the quality loss isn't that much to regular ears. We're not trying to listen to hi-def music here, just mostly moans and screams from porn.

I find 480p webms much more pleasing to watch dimension wise on the regular 1920x1080 screen than 720p or 1080p. If you want to go for the ultra high def ones nobody's stopping you, it's just that 480p fits the 4chan layout and formatting really well, and the close button is easier to find, not all the way at the end of the screen.

Also, the 4 mb limit is only for sound webms only. If you want to do soundless webms, get the file down to 3 mb so that you can post it on other boards too.
