In the original sense of the word, no. Trannies were a type of trap (see: linetrap). Any male who could fool men into thinking they were female (until they are revealed to have a dong) were traps. Doesn't matter what, specifically, they might be or whether or not they'd have fake silicone tits, etc, although more likely than not they'd have to be on hormone replacement therapy to be able to look feminine enough (there might be exceptions, of course). It all started simple: people would post a picture of a hot chick, and a bunch of straight guys would be all diamond going all "sauce!", "who is she?" etc etc, then the poster would post a pic revealing the "chick" to have a dick and people would feel disgusted, pissed off, some questioning their sexuality. It was laff

What the term "trap" has since evolved to mean now are crossdressers or guys filming themselves putting stuff up their arse while wearing colorful stockings and/or a chastity belt, with the face conveniently left out of the frame.
