From what I recall from the thread I originally got these from, it's a technique called RIST - Rapid Image Subliminal Training. No idea if it works or not or what principles it is based on, but at least a starting point if you want to spend some time Googling or whatnot.

RMQ Project Hypnosis

These are from their website, and they used to have a bunch of semi-SFW previews on YouTube but those got taken down. It's a shame, because one of mine that I had saved was overwritten because the comp I was using at the time didn't support Japanese characters, so it was mostly underscores, and it had the same number of underscores as another one.
