I haven't dared to do psychedelics after my last trip, which turned into a bad one halfway through. Wasn't even that bad, but I get panicky really quickly now, I feel like I have opened a door I can't close. Tried weed brownies for the first time a few months ago, and I got so stoned I started seeing geometric patterns. Suddenly it looked like two eyes were staring at me in between two books in a bookshelf. Monsters started to crawl out from my hair at the sides of my view. I felt the panic again. Having a panic attack while tripping or high has a very special feel to it. It doesn't feel like there is anything threatening on the outside, but like there is a true harmfull evil on the inside. I still don't know what I'm scared of, or what that evil is supposed to represent. Maybe just being scared of a bad trip is enough to cause one. It's funny, in a way.

Anyone else have experienced one? What do you do to prevent it? What do you do if it there? What kind of factors trigger it?
