Iggy Quake

It's rumoured that, on two orbiting platforms well above Earth, lie approximately two-dozen American nuclear warheads, each with a yield of 30 megatons. The theory is, supposedly, that if the "bad guys" (back in the day these were the Russians) won by conquering U.S. soil, all fifty warheads would be launched at the North and South Poles. The resulting explosions would melt both ice caps and throw Earth not only off its axis, but theoretically out of orbit as well.

The planet would be washed clean, so to speak, and new life may eventually begin again but it certainly wouldn't be human life.

This needs to happen. Earth must be washed clean.
