lol. for one thing they're inaccurate as shit, the rounds are dirty, the firing pin is inside of a block and gets so gummed by the aforementioned dirty ass rounds that it sticks out and will fire a round or 7 once you go to chamber the first.
Sure the whole assembly of the rifle is easy enough to take apart, but if you dont take care of the firing pin the whole fucking thing becomes damn near useless after a number of years.

But sure, the ammo is cheap and plentiful, and the gun is far less likely to jam because its a higher caliber round. I'll go for a .308 or a .223 any day of the week over that cheap hunk of 762-39 bullshit.

Fighting an insurgency is fucking tough, look at the Soviets in Afghanistan, or the US in the Middle East. You can't control an insurgency unless you have total and absolute control of the locals/area, and even then that is tough. It also makes it tough when your enemy can hide in plane sight.
