Yeah, this seems about right. Depends how detailed you want it to be and a lot of other factors, but in general don't expect to pay less than $150 for some decent illustration.

$50-80 is average, $30-40 is common and $10-20 is what most people here would charge because they suck

Just fudge the numbers, in the end it makes no difference as an independent contractor whether you're working 10 hours at $200 or 20 hours at $100/hr

But neither one of those are flat design. The image is actually 3D and the ones from the link are hand made digitally painted illustrations. I was talking about the Dribbble shit, where it's painfully obvious how little effort went into production. Illustrations made only with 2D geometrical shapes.
