Just a quick idea. How about some symbols around the word blast?

looks too old (1980's) if i was op i would get rid of the egg shape and the font, basically start over with a single line for the text 'BlastBit' using probably a bold and modern/friendly font with one color color for the blast and black, white or grey for the word Bit, plus a small iconic logo either on the left side or at the top.
