I think the left is much bolder and intriguing, the right seems like a Wipeout hover racing team. if you are not completely satisfied with left I would try break some of the rules and close up the gap thats inside the R maybe make some of those spaces "stubbier" to get a less whirlwindy effect your eye does when glancing over it.

i know the kerning is messed up i was just playing around with op's logo and i made that one from the image he posted within a couple of minutes, i liked the red since it kinda seems like a japanese lettering logo or something.
