Any tips to a GD student to make a good portfolio?

google the portfolio handbook also we have this same thread every week lurk moar
-show diversity
-only use pieces that make use of typography
-maybe use mock ups depending on the piece. i mean it'd be better to use your own photos for mock up shots but in some cases its acceptable.
-print on good quality paper not just regular copy paper
-dont use shitty resolution images
-have a order of presentation that makes sense. like dont use one single logo as a presentation piece then 5 pages later in your portfolio have that logo used for another project. keep related projects close.
im just throwing ideas out there. theres a lot of tips. talk to your professors or use google to research.
