I have a bamboo tablet, and the lines just don't go straight. Don't know if it isn't calibrated or what, but I literally took a ruler, placed in on top of the tablet and drew a straight line. What do you know, the line in illustrator is curved.

Is there anything I'm missing? I'm new to tablets.

Illustrator really is not meant to work on pointing devices that are less precise than mouse.

Clip Studio Paint has a built in stabilizer and can use vectors. It's built for illustration so you're not gonna get a ton of effects like in photoshop
