What does /gd/ think about such flat color design?
It's great for lazy hacks such as myself
The ease of use of Adobe Illustrator dictates 90% of current design trends
Its boring but, meh, makes my job easier
I don't like it in the pic you posted because I don't think something like a hand should be illustrated in flat design.
I'm not opposed to flat color design for something like icons or a logo.

I hate it, it's uninspired, and lazy.
It's piss easy, so it pretty much phases out the competition when it comes to something even slightly more complex.
It's more about uniformity than individuality. Everyone's flat art looks like everyone else's because that's the goal. Hence why it's boring.
I mean the concept of abstracting something to its basest elements is kind of neat. I think that idea of economy has merit in design, I just don't really care for the aesthetic at all.
Personally I love it, but I can see why some people might hate it. I'm still studying so I really don't have a good idea of what people usually "ask for" also I live in Portugal, it's not really the best place to search for that. But I love it, and I don't like to think that it's a lazy way to do things, just because it's simple it doesn't mean it's lazy.
its cool, but its literally everywhere now

I think it's an awful fad.

Its the current trend and makes my job ten times easier. I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.

Lazy, but at least it's better than all the bullshit photoshop filters that gives us a 2000s aesthetic.
I think simple modern design that gets to the point will never fade away. So don't expect this lazy style to go away.

I don't think its a fad, minimalism has always had its place in design, this just is our generations iteration of it
I really like the brighter colors, but some parts of skeumorphism I do miss. Not too much, though.
