So, this is my first go at it. It's the opening / landing page of an application.
Suggestions?

the initial animation is laggy and the last part was awkward as fuck.
>>284607
I suppose you are using ae for this.
The animation is a little stiff, try softenning the keyframes.
>ctrl+shift+f9 for the first movement keyframe
>shift+f9 for the las one
>f9 for the middle ones.
Or you can tweak it through the graph editor and have more control

Thanks anon.
It could possibly just be that it's a compressed gif, I can post a webbum later.

This is bad. You need to at least learn 12 basic principles of animation before trying again.

>this is bad
Alright, then why?
Post your work aswell
>12 basic principles of animation
Sounds generic.
>>284690
I think what you have is a decent start. >>284674 is right though, you should acquaint yourself with the 12 basic principles of animation. They were created for character animation but they apply to the whole medium.

>12 basic principles of animation

boy this actually hurt me.
the reason it doesnt look good is because you dont know them. There's no leading, anticipation, easing or anything.
You wouldn't do type without knowing what weight or kerning is, same thing applies here.

Gotta implement that easy ease

Your thank you looks like shit

if this is yours, your follow-throughs are very awkward and painful to look at (good job overall tho)
The wobbling encourages movement instead of touching. Make it pulsate or something.
Easing is a must on the full screen effects. If you have the time, I'd highly suggest using motion paths and an opacity effect to have the individual feathers "flutter" into their place in the logo, rather than the full logo spin in at once.
