How do I get a job?
I don't even know where to apply.
Does your alma mater not have a career services office?

I can't believe it's been 3 years since that screenshot. Time moves quicker than I can keep up with.
So you've got a portfolio. Look for local design companies and send them it saying you're looking for work. I know people who have had success this way as opposed to just applying for jobs, you should do both though.

I was THERE, man.

It does, but since our CS department is so small, it only has IT or server management jobs

Where do I look for local design companies? Should I look at the AIGA's site for that?
I don't understand op
just start applying to jobs
look at LinkedIn, eluta etc etc
prep your cover letter, resume, portfolio, interview
where are you located, op?

oh hell no. no. no. no. the AIGA chapter closest to where i live, either could not or would not provide me a list of places that ever existed. that is because they probably left their email account shrivel up and die? who gives a shit. i couldn't remember the shitter place i interned at, and needed someone to help me dig it up.
and it wasn't AIGA. at least not the ones near me. useless hipster arrogant waste of skin and bone.

look for front end development jobs
since youre a cs major (not sure how your technical skills are) you should be fine doing backend development too
