Does anyone know what the exact technology used for what I'm about to describe is, or have any of you guys even heard of it before ?
So the way it works is you call someones cell phone, the number will always come up as a private number, but I am not sure if you can select whatever number you want, i assume the owner of tech can if they really wanted.
Now by doing this, once the person answers that gives them the location of the person called. Not sure if this works with landlines, but it definitely works with cellphones. Location also does not have to be turned on, as it works when location is off.
Along with this also exists the ability to render a phones battery useless. Now finding someones location by this means does not fuck up the battery, but is simply another option. Not sure if it's the same program, or whatever they use, but this is also possible. The battery will pretty much instantly go dead, and will not charge, hold a charge, or be of any use even with the charger plugged in.
Access to the phone is not required for this to work, it is all done remotely. Perhaps the persons phone was needed, but I am nearly positive this was all done strictly remotely without any type of malware etc. Maybe the person has access to the network and can then upload the malware to specific phones?
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I know organized crime has the tech, and I assume government, but is it available to civilians and what the hell is it ?
>Now by doing this, once the person answers that gives them the location of the person called
Sorry that sounds a little retarded. What i mean is, whenever the person being called answers the phone, the person who called them is given their location.
Honestly I don't think the person even needs to answer the phone for this to work.
