I hate the Pixel's design because its bezels are needlessly huge, but I also hate the S8 and iPhone X's design because they both modify the shape of the screen just to accommodate how little bezel there is.

I want something with the bezels of a Galaxy S4, except with software keys and dual speakers please. The bezels on that phone are perfect; not comically huge, not comically tiny. Remove the home button, back and menu keys, and earpiece and replace them with two speakers and you've got a perfect smartphone.

I assume that's 2436 pixels from the highest point (notifications/battery area) to the lowest point, and 1125 from side to side, in the mostly parallel edges. If you draw this rectangle, you now need to crop out the rounded corners and the camera block, and you get the phone's display. Think Nintendo's flat 2DS's single screen.
