I'm using Nexus 5 with Lineage OS 7.1.2 at the moment, I need a 5 inch phone with stock android and good performance. I prefer Snapdragon Professors so I could eventually flash a rom.

Why do you want something else? The Nexus 5 is basically the C64 of smartphones. Just replace the battery and keep using it.

I have kind of a same situation, but with N4.

I still get updates from community faster than flagship phones from manufacturers like samsung, and nothing I can see at the moment seems to be worth upgrading to.
