my dual rad watercooler is held in place with zipties
My case door had something that would make a tapping sound repeatedly (probably a fan hitting a cable or something else) so I put a piece of furniture foam on along most of the cracks of the door and the tapping never came back

years ago when i was building a pc i was a bit forceful and somehow snapped the connector off of my ssd. was just the plastic that the sata connecter snaps onto. the pins were still there but were just floating. i balanced the sata cable on the pins and held it there with duct tape. i ran my pc like that for a year and it only crashed about 3 times because of it.
