I've been using linux for four years now with pretty much no major problems. When a problem does occur, I find the relevant stack overflow page in <5s, and then fix it.

Now when something fucks up on windows, usually you get no feedback about what's wrong, so you google random shit for 30 minutes looking for a problem that is similar to yours. Then when you've found the problem, you navigate through 50 different obscure GUI windows looking for a specific button that seems to be in a different place every update or OS version.

i did that. and the documentation was missing the proper fix. when i asked people for help they told me to install a different distro instead. 4 hours of work and i managed to fix the problem on my own.

I have been using Linux exclusively for three years. Today is the day I reinstalled Windows though. I am working with VHDL for a CPU design class, and getting the FPGA IDE to work in its entirety has been a nightmare. More so than mist problems. I don't have time to get it working because our projects are essentially due bi-weekly. I am kind of sad to be honest, I feel like I ruined my purity.
