Could anyone explain how do usb c cables vary and what kinds of cables are there, please?
I got a chinese usb c charged 2 in 1 laptop, but posts on what chargers should I use are at least inconsistent. The only rule that I noticed that it's compatible with cables that have usb c on both sides. Would a 9$ 12-9v 1.5a nintendo charger be enough or do I need more expensive apple compatible charger? Stock charger is 12v 2a
I also need a USB C cable for my smartphone since I lost the original, and I don't know shit either.
Bump, I know it's not an android vs iphone thread but maybe we could post about something else once in a while.
Look for Benson approved cables.
Nintendo uses USB-C?

USB-C is USB-C.
Just buy the damn cord. They all are build around a specification.
Chargers just vary.

Not really. Some chinese usb c cables can be an usb 2 with an usb c connector and they carry only 5v.

Only on the switch.
Some man probably gave his life in trade of making nintendo do a sane hardware decision.
