So I have a 13" retina macbook, early 2015 lowest model. For a laptop it is more than enough for me. Would I be able to get around the same power from a thinkpad that is hackintoshed and get the same battery life too? If so what model do I buy?

I am running OSX on a used T420 I bought off of ebay. Battery life went down from 10hrs to 7hrs, but it seems to run a bit smoother than windows.
I noticed some problems with the lenovo tools and hardware, but if you don't use them its fine

oh thanks, but what do you mean by the lenovo tools? Also I think I'd be more interested in the X series because i basically bought the mac for thin and light.
