Have a friend whos company is a contractor to HTC in China and said HTC has left the phone business and shifted most of theyr resources into VR. The Chinese company also is trying to strike a deal with valve regarding the production of the Vive headset Gen 2 which I already saw at a expo in Shanghai. Fuck phones, vr is the future.

patents are great. it's one part of capitalism that in the long run will help to bring it down. eventually all the patents will be held by just a handful of companies and no one else will be able to create anything. same with industry sectors themeselves. eventually you will have just one store. amazon. one gas station. sheetz. one social network. facebook.
