The Fidelio X1 are great, they are plugged in to Steinberg UR22 audio interface, I bought it for the monitor output and to record synths. I would not recommend it if you don't need those features. It's just a flat sound good for mastering if you work with audio, not so much "fun" listening to.

Bought the top two monitors for $30 yesterday, a great steal. I thought their function would be mostly aesthetic, but as you can see I'm putting them to good use. Bit early to tell yet, but I think they could really improve my workflow.

These decent speakers sound just about as good as dropping 150 dollars on some cheap Klipsch R-14s with an amp.
Total RMS is about 100 watts, got dedicated tweeters and dedicated sub.

I should know. I returned my Klipsch R-14's and amp because it sounded fucking the same as this 50 dollar special.
