DAS RITE FUG DA CYBER BOLIS TAKING MUH LOCAL ADDRESSES
i will tunnel through over 9000 machines to the moon and back without any port conflict (liek an abstract spaghetti :3) and you won't make me use gay shit like a proper vpn or having an outer ip address that is reachable from the internet because it's not behind hundreds of NATs (yeah thanks dorm).
what was the rationale?
also ipv6 adoption laughing thread.

lmoa also apparently if you use link local (fe80::b00b%hurr1) you can't open that in a browser because they fucked up by using the % symbol and it's not compatible with uri syntax and shit and nobody bothers to fix this bug so it's bork.

not even get me started on brackets.

BASICALLY:
Doing the equivalent of locally connecting to your router's web page by going to the default of 192.0.0.1 literally doesn't work with IPv6. This is even though IPv6 automatically gives a local address (very convenient actually) but the problem is: browsers don't accept it. It only works if you already gave it a custom local IP (fc00::b00b) but how the fuck are you supposed to do that without having access in the first place. What the actual fuck?

They should completely change the shitty syntax and make an IPv6.1 or something.
