and I hated it! I tried OpenBSD for two weeks and Gentoo for two more but I spent the entire time missing Arch Linux.

The package manager is god tier, with many *active* mirrors (unlike OpenBSD). When I tried Gentoo I ended up downloading binaries anyway for libreoffice and firefox. Compiling FF55 seemed to be broken anyway, even with the correct USE flags.

Everything just works out of the box. The default base system is a completely sane springboard to do whatever you want with the OS.

The documentation on Arch Wiki is incredible. I had to read pages of forums to figure out which /etc/foo.conf file to edit on OpenBSD to get my system to work.

I don't even mind systemd!

In conclusion, hey baby did you know I use arch linux?
