Most of the professional linux users are on Ubuntu. Only saw 1 on Arch. Most professional users just use Windows.

People make fun of 'ricing' but I pretty much do everything in the terminal except browse the internet. Why wouldn't I spend an hour or two getting it to look a way that's comfortable/pleasant to look at. Also, having a tiling wm does wonders for efficiency and productivity. The guy in OP's pic has two windows hidden behind the two overlapping focused windows. All that time spent switching between windows, moving windows, etc.
