Morning /g/uys. Have a few questions regarding Linux usage. I'm a moron when it comes to this who has some light experience with Ubuntu back when it was like...7.04.
1. What's the most idiot friendly distro?
2. Is WINE still the go to (non-)emulator for Windows? I don't think I'll need it too much, just wondering.
3. Are NVidia drivers for Linux shit?
Thanks in advance, guys. Picture probably not related; just some hilarious clickbait I saw.

Do VMs still make it damn near impossible to access the GPU, or is this a thing of the past?

I'm a moron and Google's not showing me shit: what is 'blobs' in regards to GPU drivers?
1. Ubuntu
2. it's shit that can't handle DirectX11 games, just dual-boot with Windows instead
3. yes compared to the Windows drivers

it's a pain in the ass, if you "don't have time", go for a dual boot
Plenty of answers but none quite right
Ubuntu OR Fedora
VM using virtual box (you said "noon friendly, wine is not)
Proprietary drivers are almost to standard, nouveau is bad as others have said
