Which book should I choose to learn matplotlib/scipy? Is pic a good one? there is just a ton of them nowadays, I don't know which to choose.
pictured book is good but outdated by 5 years. fundamentals probably haven't changed too much.

Have you read at least something from it?
I've read 2 chapters from pic, one of the worst books I saw.

You don't need to "learn" matplotlib, it's mostly justimport matplotlib.pyplot as plt, copying example plots from the gallery and modifying the code to your liking.
Same thing with scipy, if you have some use cases of the libary, then just look up the docs.
What you should learn to use without much docs is numpy (and also pandas if you do data analysis)

Why?

I used matplotlib this way already, now want to learrn it in more details, same with scipy, numpy, pandas.

Useless information, useless code examples. It can be a good textbook for school tho.
