What's your favorite markup language /g/? This is the thread to talk about it
I'm actively using asciidoctor to take notes during meetings and classes and write some other docs automated with LaTeX.
What are you using markdown for? What editor? How good do you know the syntax?

I use it to take notes in uni that other people might want to see. Do you really use latex for non-meme purposes? Everybody just uses word like a normal human being where I live

People actually use LaTeX for academic stuff. I use a lot in my Math assignments. Equations and such are so much easier with TeX.

As in humane markup language?
One that respects newlines and has proper table support and doesn't rely on indentation. Aka not markup.

But why? I'm a long-time /g/ lurker and thought this would be worth discussing

Asciidoc does that, one of the reasons I'm using it. What language are you writing with?

At the time, none, just wanted to state that I don't like MarkDown.

Markdown on Ulysses is just so good desu
I use it to write my essays and take class notes, since the syntax is so easy to commit to memory
