Should work out of the box with any modern kernel distro. Wifi chips are the perpetual issue but you have an ethernet port to get those drivers.

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a build of this with 256mb ssd + 1tb hd even though a lot of reviews have this setup. Is there a reason why every store I'm seeing only carries a 128mb ssd?
