I've found out there was a mistake in the database.
Told on forums there was a mistake which needed to be fixed because it was too severe to just "edit an entry" by myself.
Got a shitton of crap, foul language and finger flipping thrown at me out of nowhere, from BOTH the "general userbase" AND mods with admin, even though this was my first post on forums in years. Well, as of now, anidb is still a decently reliable source of organization for such a thing as the western anime fan-community. However if it does not, another idea was to only give that option to users that donate. The tor server is for trusted staff members, not the tor links, its used for backups and the server only has connection to the internet using tor, it is also completely paid with bitcoin, it backups the databases and torrent files daily in there and is only available currently for me, ewhal and alucard. The tracker is run on a different provider so that it has no downtime in case anything else has downtime and so that the ip's aren't leaked. The frontend servers is where the actual script on github is ran on and the torrent files stored, the backend is where the database and Elasticsearch are ran on. Also the tracker isn't related to nyaapantsu online, it is used in lots of different sites including nyaa.si, anidex, tokyotosho, etc.

Not really since we are technically all at risk, also the server has already been paid for 24 months in advance, its just been divided into 24 months to show on the transparency notices. I would definitely not run it on anything ran by OVH or scaleway, they are one of the worst providers i have ever encountered and they do not care at all if you have downtime or if they accidentally delete your server like it has happened to me before, also they wouldn't allow it like i have experienced. Since the tracker is used by lots of sites i want it to be as stable as possible. All the other things aren't really for me to say, ask ewhal.

Dude, just stub the sqlite3_key function in aomdbi4.dll instead of that dodgy shit you're trying. I assume you have some basic knowledge in cracking software right? AOM's encryption is dead easy to crack.
The unencrypted AOM database does have almost all of the data from the TCP API, but the developer clearly doesn't know how to use a database, and everything's in his own home grown serialization format. And it's buggy, because it's broken in places.

The TCP API itself is fairly sane. It has most of the data relating anime/files/episodes etc, but lacks most other things. I have a copy of it which is continually updated, but I won't distribute it or give further help with cracking AOM for various reasons I won't disclose. If shit hits the fan, I'll probably post it up somewhere.

But it's possible to just scrape a lot off the HTTP API if you use enough proxies or have enough IPs, and the patience to let the thing run.
