Do they still make dumb TVs? I need to buy a new TV but smart TVs are too slow and stupid. Something with a fast response time and like 3 HDMI ports just in case. 1080p is just fine, no need for 4K

To the best of my knowledge, no smart TV actually forces you to use the smart features. Yes, it is stupid to pay for those features and not use them. But, as you've probably noticed, dumb TVs are harder to find. If you can find a smart TV on sale for a good price, there should be no reason not to buy it and just connect it to a source the same as a dumb TV.

I just hate that with smart TVs, if you choose the wrong one, you're looking at a fucking splash screen with a company logo while the thing boots up, and just overall navigating the thing is slower than in a dumb TV.
I have a TCL TV with the built-in Roku, and while it's probably one of the fastest I've come across, it still takes longer than I'd like to turn on. And you can't just input your channel because there aren't any numbers in the controller; you have to scroll through a list.

Yep.
