Pretty sure all magnetic fans still have some kind of bearing to keep them stable. Corsairs are however overpriced too and not even the first ones to use magnetic fans. Sunon and Enermax have been making magnetic fans for ages.

You're correct.
Brushless induction motors suffer from magnet wearout. Electromech motors suffer from part siezure.

Both techs are sufficienctly advanced that the bearings are the failure point before the drive mechanism fails.

So a "maglev" fan is still ultimately limited by the bearing tech used in the fan, just like any other fan. Also Corsair is an overpriced meme
