I'm trying to run a dedicated ARK server which is why I need help with this. This is the situation:
>logged into router 10.0.0.1 and set port forwarding to enabled, ports 7777 and 27015 are routed to my ipv4 address at 10.0.0.218
>disabled the firewall on the router just in case it was blocking the connection (made no difference)
>in windows firewall i have exceptions on port 27015, 7777 to allow connections on these ports
>both udp/tcp and also created an exception in my firewall for the server software itself (shootergameserver.exe)
>i go to canyouseeme.org and check if the ports are open and it says "connection timed out"
>i also have the server running when i check to see if the ports are open, yes my arkserver is properly configured
im on a wifi connection, do i need to be on ethernet hardwired into my router?
i thought port forwarding worked on wifi connections too.
how the hell do i keep port 27015 open af?
what the hell is going wrong here?
i'll literally btc anyone who solves my problem cause im not about to pay some niggers in india to host my ark server for $20/mo.
