/g/, I know that here there prevails an aversion to pre-assembled PCs, and I understand, but look at what I came across at Costco just now:

>8 gig 1070
>32 gigs of ddr4
>250gigSSD/1TB HDD
>(probably cheap, but comes with keyboard/mouse)
I'm trying to make a comparable build and already I'm at $1500 without a case or power supply. Do my eyes deceive me, or is this a killer deal?

FYI - the parts they source aren't as high quality as the ones you've got on your list.

Plus the airflow on the case isn't as good either. Overall, you'd pay less now but pay for it in the long run when you inevitably have to replace the parts.

6700 not 6700k, probably not a z170 motherboard, probably the cheapest ssd possible, seagate hard drive with 5400 rpm, that dumb reference asus blower 1070, garbage no-name 500w 80+ power supply, and the networking is integrated to the board.
