Anons, give me recommendations for laptops to buy for an AutoCAD course I have this semester. Since it's my last semester I have a shitload of payments to do, so my budget is arround $280-$350.
I need something that meets the minimun requirements: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-requirements-for-AutoCAD-2018.html
Hard mode: I need it before the 8th of this month, I live in Texas so tell me where I can get one near me pls.
buy a desktop, a toaster will suffice. WHy would you do autocad on a fucking laptop?

also autocad is completely free for students. if your school is making you pay for it then you are getting (((fucked))).
Any fucking laptop. They're all fine

I need it for the pressential tests we have each week, I have a gaming PC and CAD runs butterfuckingsmooth in it, but le teacher need to see us doing the drawings.

I have the student version, 3 years of license.
>>62207219
the license is unlimited. after 3 years all you have to do is download the newest version. they don't tell you that shit.

Forgot to put my name on the reply, also what the fuck is going on with this captcha?
any 4 core laptop with at least 8GB's of ram should run it fine. I use a Dell with a 6200U and 16GB of ram and it's totally fine.
You should get a high end gaming laptop.

Thanks for letting me know, here's a birb for you

Not sure how easily it'll be to get in your area, but look around for some used enterprise-grade Latitude laptops. I got an E6440 from a friend who's architecture firm was swapping out hardware, it's been able to handle anything and everything I've thrown at it, CAD and SolidWorks included.

I already have a Gaming PC, I would rather use that extra cash for it.
Also $280-$350 budget

>I already have what I need
Sorry, why did you make this thread?

>>62207341
I'll start checking if it's available in my area, thank you for the suggestion

Put that shit in the OP retard.
>need to see us doing the drawings
Alright, so you don't actually need something powerful?
Chromebooks are probably the cheapest, but almost any laptop without a GPU will do.
>>62207394
Unironically check the thinkpad general too, there's another 3 or 4 models that are highly recommended in the OP
>>62207406
I know I fucked up by not mentioning it before, I didn't had enough sleep last night, so sorry I guess
I will check them, the cheapest the best
>>62207421
Thanks, will do
