I've always used uBlock Origin and stuff like it but finally decided to install Pi-hole. I put it on an Ubuntu server (16.04 LTS) and, with Pi-hole running, the VM is using 65MB RAM.
>mfw people on /g/ are always saying Pi-hole has bad performance
Maybe it used to, but I read they updated it with a daily cron job that flushes the logs to help performance.
What's your guys experience with Pi-hole?

People says pi-hole is slow?
I bought a Pi Zero W just for it and it works pretty good, i dont have to use resource hog and buggy adblockers anymore.
What other similar (not as in similar purpose, but similar usefulness) projects are there for Raspberry Pi? also, is there a way to inject userscripts globally to all my network? i wanna ditch Violent Monkey too

VIOLENT MONKEY. REEEEEE.
it doesnt block youtube ads, sadly
>>62191489
That's a shame. Dealbreaker no doubt.
NoTrack master race.
>>62191269
stick it up your Pi-hole
>not using adguard dns to block ads
>>62192061
Adguard DNS is nice but they have servers in Holland and Russia. That really messes with locating the correct CDN when your far from those two places.

>He didn't pay for an Adguard license

What's the difference from pi-hole? It looks like NoTrack is quidsup's thing, which is cool. But Pi-hole is looking pretty snazzy with its bootstrap interface

Post that CSS, babydoll
>>62191489
does it collapse blocked elements?
>>62191269
I installed it on my netbook/server but it does some weird DNS lookup loops so it does in fact slow down my internet browsing.
It's a pity that I don't know how to fix it because it seemed to be working very well

I set one up at my mom's house and she says it does block her youtube ads, she uses an ipad.
