MacOS: Because I learned my mistakes about trusting Apple hardware quality a long time ago with my old Macbook Pro, and the package managers available for OS X are all of poor quality, so I can't justify installing it on my laptop over Ubuntu.
iOS: If you jailbreak it, it's insecure, because jailbreaking requires not patching an arbitrary code execution vulnerability. If you don't, it's as useless as a brick.
