What the hell is it called if you sit in the server room all day, leach the company connection for torrents, and install adobe reader?
How do I become IT guy, lord of the MILFs?
I love computers, computer hardware, software, debugging problems with how different things interact. I hate actual programming.

I just want a peaceful life of fixing random computer problems for MILFs and optimizing operational infrastructure.

What qualifications you got?
As a data center analyst I basically do that, except the adobe reader part.
I don't install software.
My qualifications are not being dumb, and having browsed /g/ fore a few years.

Absolutely nothing official.
I helped teach, then taught, robotics classes for kids from ages 14-18, that ended when my employer died this summer. I've been basically a NEET since then. I worked in a factory for three days before quitting due to wanting to shove my head into the metal presser machine. I have no ambition to do much of anything besides generic IT.
I got a comptia study guide and it all seems like easy shit I could ace a test immediately for.
Unofficial, undocumented skills, at home I run my windows desktop along with 3 linux servers for torrents, NAS, and generic services for myself.

>employer died
Gonna be a bit awkward considering you probably need a reference if you wanted to get a job but as long as you got good enough people skills for the interview you could try out

Talk to your parents friends who work for small companies (not corporations)
Tell them how good you are at fixing computers and ask them if they need an IT guy
That's it

Get an associates degree in I.T and the A+ certificate. That's what I did and I'm a systems admin.
