Hi /g/ I have a receiver that is sucking right now. When connect from motherboard 3.5 out to the RCA input on the receiver the sound cuts for a second randomly. I heard it could be speaker wire arching but I tried switching to headphone out on the receiver and that had the same issue.
I will try headphones direct to that 3.5 mm port and see if that happens but I believe it is the receiver's issue. Any idea what I could expect to figure out if I popped off the cover? Additionally I don't think sound cuts if I listen through my turntable.

Sorry was at work, seems to work fine with headphones from computer jack, must be the receiver.

nm it does. SHIT

Input isn't loud enough/there's too long of a silence, so the amp cuts out. That's it.
Otherwise you'd always have white noise.

But why does it go when headphones are in the back but not the front headers?

So is it pic related?
Why are you using 3.5mm to rca?
Use HDMI from your graphic card (lossless audio and unrestricted channel count unlike optic which is either lossless stereo, or....
>Stereo receiver Issues
So why did you post a surround receiver?

not pic related, only RCA in.
I think it is my motherboard somehow. I read that speaker wires can sometimes arc, maybe the back port is not grounded right?

Botnet

try the front speaker out

Tried the mobo ports again. still cuts. trying the front port now. it takes a few minutes for it to do it. So far the front port is good. Must be a mobo issue.
>>62073831
doesn't seem like the issue at all. seems to be more time on related.

No issues on front but it seems the front port false activates and mutes the rear for a split second. I tried removing the mute setting but then it just cut out completely after a bit.
