Is the Pixel a good phone?

It's pretty good but to be honest I don't make too many phone calls on it.

Never had any issues with the calls though

It's the iPhone of android. Everything just werks out of the box and the camera is one of the best on the market. Also, it's still an android so you can go nuts with custom roms if you want.

I've not had any issues with mine. In fact, it's the first android I've used completely stock and unrooted because it does everything perfectly. Slap Nova on there and run Netgaurd for ad blocking and you're good to go.
