Other than /g/, where do you get your tech news from?

Arstechnica, tbqh
Headlines from Hacker News, details from traditional news organizations if the HN link was some garbage like Verge

Register is strangely fine, even though it's british.

Ars has some good pieces, some others are terrible. Really terrible.

If you treat reddit purely as a news aggregation and never read the comments, it can be decent. Especially if its a niche interest.
I mainly use /g/, HN, and /. but recently I haven't been impressed much by the latter two.
I occasionally look at the reddit homepage just to see the links/headlines, but I won't go into the comments. It works fine for a feed of news, especially on non political topics (which I don't care about anyway).
Any other good sites? I used to read arstechnica as well but their quality has been steadily declining.

eat shit and die

... But comments are where the discussion really happens though. Once in a while some comedy gold slips through too

Rarely does anything important happen in the comments, most likely some unfunny pun that's been posted a trillion times will be posted or whatever is the biggest circlejerk will be upvoted. Comments are pretty much worthless on reddit.

>some others are terrible. Really terrible.
It really depends on the author and the topic.

Not the Anon you're responding to, but reddit comments are useful in certain scenarios.
I don't really see their relevancy in a news article, but there are many people in tech related subs that make useful posts. They ranges from software recommendations, goes to setup things, etc.

Yeah, that's right.
