Is there a reason there aren't OLED tvs less than 50" large? I'd love to get a 40" OLED but there just aren't any. Is there any reason other than costs? The demand is there, isn't it?

Cost of production. It's easier and cheaper to just produce a couple of sizes and the market is for bigger TV's right now.
